I have a wide toe/ball and a narrow heal. These have been the most comfortable, supportive, best made shoe I've worn for years. I buy a new pair of these every year...every pair has fit like a glove and they are rugged, yet stylish enough to wear to the office. I wear them through the whole winter (slush, ice, snow...they get the heck beat out of them in our rural area). We have little cement, mostly dirt trails, sand and lots of gravel.I imagine they would last longer if I took better care of them...but they are a hard working shoe so as a treat to myself, I just buy another pair (for office wear) every year and wear my old pair out in the garden and dirt (these shoes can handle a shovel better than any woman's boot I ever worn. Lots of cushion for my feet too....very happy with these Ariat's and I highly recommend them for anyone. I get a lot of compliments on them and tell people all the time what a nicely made shoe they are (I've even recommended them to nurses and doctors who stand on their feet all day) - they liked them too.
