Bought for wearing to work with slacks, need to look neat and professional, need good ankle and arch support for tarsal tunnel and needed something that would accept my off-the-shelf orthotics. Have skinny foot and wanted generous toe box. Toe box has plenty of room and the laces allow me to snug it up well so I don't knock around inside these when walking - on my feet 5 of 8 hours daily these were comfortable all day from day 1. Non marking sole. Plus, now people think I ride!

I had heard that Ariat boots are comfortable for riding and walking. Mine feel just a little big and need a breaking in, but I am confident that they will be comfortable and long-lasting.

When I got the boots, I expected them to be way more comfortable than they were. I wore them for a whole day and I had blisters and the arches of my feet ached. I would only recommend buying these boots if you have had previous experience breaking in stiff leather boots.

This is a very nice boot. I wear a seven, but my foot is wide, so I ordered a 7W and it fits perfectly, very comfortable all day. It needed virtually no breaking in. I wish it were waterproof-I know they make one that is, but couldn't find it in the style I wanted--but it's a stylish, neat looking boot, good with trousers or jeans, for dress or casual. I would definitely buy it again, ut I am hoping these last for a really long time.
