Why don't manufactures make these in size wide????? The are the beet boots ever but too tight. On my third pair and the heels and soles always wear out too quickly and are too tight. Took tight. I'm a farmers daughter n need wide size boots which are rare to find.

My 2nd Pair of Fat Baby Originals December 28, 2012

I got my first pair of Fat Baby Originals about 8 years ago. They were very worn out, but still one of my favorite shoes. I tried looking for another pair about a year or so ago and couldn't find them anymore. All the new Ariat boots were a little to showy for my taste. So, when I saw that they were available again, I ordered this 2nd pair. I did order a half size smaller than the last time, because the leather does stretch out a bit. I have several differenr pairs of Ariat shoes and I have found that 9 1/2 is my size for this brand, a lot of other shoes I wear are size 10. So it is hard to say if they are "true to size" or not. When my order arrived, they were not the same as in the picture. Shoe Buy sent me another pair after returning the "wrong" ones. Their customer service was very helpful. My only complaint is that the interior leather on the new pair seems a little less durable than on my original pair form 8 years ago, like they used a lesser quality leather. Other than that, they are great. I wear them often and they are very comfortable right out of the box. I hope these last another 8 years like my 1st pair. If I could afford to, I would buy another pair to have waiting for when these wear out.
Wears this shoe: I wear them at least 4 or 5 days a week, except in the summer.

I already owned the Ariat Fatbaby boots in brown and decided I needed them in black too. Love the way they fit and feel. Very comfortable, even all day!
