The pair of Avalon Katie sandals that I purchased 3 years ago has served many many miles and needed replacement. I have a very long narrow foot with one leg 1.3 cm longer than the other due to hip surgery. This shoe enables the easy insertion of a lift. They work with most type of clothing; I also have a white pair! Please keep making this shoe!
Wears this shoe: Daily--alternate with New Balance sneakers. Men's as women's 13

I have worn the Aravon Katy sandal for several years now. They are the most comfortable sandal I have found and are the nicest looking sandal in this category I have seen - casual, but can dress up a little because the leather is nice quality. The footbed is removable and orthotics stay in place with velcro (provided). I usually buy XW shoes because the ball of my foot is wide and I have a bunion. However, I have a very narrow heel. In this sandal, the medium width fits me best - if I loosen the toebox strap a little. The wide was too wide in the heel as tight as the strap could go. They have good support.
Wears this shoe: Every day, I walk for miles in these shoes.

I already had two pairs of "Katy"s, in black, so I thought I would order the blue. I wore it several times last week and again today. It's very comfortable, as are all my other eight-or-so pairs (mostly Jodys) of Aravon shoes. I have one pair that I ordered last winter that had a small heel (Maya?), and it felt a bit wide. Other than that pair, each pair has been true to size (length and width), and very comfortable.
Wears this shoe: Im now retired, and I wear them almost daily.

These are nice, casual sandals. They beautifully handle an orthotic which was the key reason that I purchased them. However, I ordered wide because of the orthotic and really should have ordered a medium width. Great cushioning. Wider than expected.
Wears this shoe: Casual occasions - usually with slacks or shorts
