The Jodi is a Mary Jane with Vibram Newflex outsole. Vibram NEWFLEX is a lightweight, rubberized EVA used for soles of dress and casual shoes. It's great for walking on various surfaces.

I have a torn tendon and have to wear orthodics. The shoes are made to take orthodics, one lining comes out and then there is a nice permanant lining. They are the most stylish shoes that I have that can take orthodics. I bought them in three colors. I can't wear them as many hours as my other orthopedic shoes but I think that is because my orthodics are so wide and just about fit in the shoes but I am very happy with them.
Wears this shoe: All the time, as they are casual and I wear mostly casual cothes.

This is my second pair of these shoes. My fifth pair of this brand. They may be a bit higher priced than the normal shoe, but the fit can't be beat. The comfort is a ten. I have very bad arthritis in my big toes, and being able to wear a closed toe shoe is a miracle. Buy just one pair and you will see, it is like wearing slippers.
Wears this shoe: This is a dress shoe for me. I wear them day and night.
