Aravon Gwen Shoe

I like the style and color since it doesn't look like the same old walking shoe. Since I had purchased 2 pairs of Aravon shoes in the past, I thought I would try this style. My first pair was a square toe which is uncomfortable, the other pair was a maryjane type shoe and I definitely don't like it. The Gwen shoe is more comfortable even though it is slightly more narrow than advertised. Probably I won't purchase anymore Aravon shoes.

I bought these shoes in brown about 2 months ago. The slightly higher heel height, excellent ankle support and comfort have made these my favorite pair. Feel like a good athletic shoe. The elastic laces are so easy to adjust, and provide me with all-day ankle support with lots of toe room and plenty of depth for my orthotics. I really love the style, too. I'm now shopping for a pair in black.

These shoes are the worst shoes I have ever bought and for the money I am so upset. I am not able to return them because I had to wear them to know if they were as good as they claim and after just 3 days I was limping around. They had my hips and my front of my legs in pain. I work 10 or more hours a day and I am on my feet and walking the whole time. I read the info about the shoe and I was sold.. I hated to pay the cost of these shoes and thought they would have to be GREAT for the cost... and now I am stuck with a terrible pair of shoes..but my legs and body are worth more than these shoes and I will never buy this brand again. I have had Merrill shoes many time and I am hoping that they will come back with the style color that I have had for 3 years.

Extremely comfortable, though not as stylish as I would have liked. Similar shoes made by Colehaan and others are hipper, but either don't come narrow, run too wide or not true to size or have more limited support.
