The shoes I bought were described on the website as black calfskin, but they seem more like a woven bonded material, which I have never seen in an Ara shoe before. They are good sandals, but if you say calfskin, they should be proper leather. The picture looks like leather, but the shoes don't feel or look like it.

This granny boot is extremely comfortable. The leather is buttery soft and the boot lining is leather & soft flannel. A nice dress boot that is stylish and dressy, but also casual. Can be worn with dress slacks or jeans. I purchased both the black & brown. I would give this a 5 star but the left boot on the brown pair is a bit taller and looser than the right boot. The cowhide is a little distressed, so if you tend to want the leather to look perfectly even throughout the boot you may be disappointed. I tend to think this look is normal for a high end product.

These are very comfortable. They feel true to size with socks on, but maybe a little roomy without or with stockings. They are a little chunky to be too dressy, but I rarely get dressed up.

The boot is really stylish and looks like it would be really warm too. But I had to return them due to the width. I am a medium width and that's what the boots were but the width fits like a narrow. Way too tight - really uncomfortable.
