Overall this shoe is pretty comfortable, but I haven't tried it in any wet weather. There's no arch support or padding in the shoe itself. It's about a 1/2 to 1 size larger than marked, and the wide width is not very wide. Luckily since it's Goretex there's a lot of stretch to the shoe. I use this shoe to run errands, it's a casual looking shoe.

I loved this short boot so much that I had to get a back up pair and I also bought the tall boot of this same style as well. They are all waterproof which is a bonus and the look is very stylish! Everyone asks me where I found them. Once you get one pair, you will want another. Also, I am 5'9" tall and they have the perfect heel height as well as the perfect traction for walking in all types of weather. You will love these boots!
