I was looking for waterproof boots that looked nice enough to wear to work so I could leave them on without bringing a change of shoes. These boots are elegant enough to wear out for the evening, too, and don't look too fancy to wear by day. They were exactly what I was looking for, and more than met my expectations.
Wears this shoe: to work, out for dinner, on week ends

I got these boots to wear to church when it's rainy or snowy, and they serve their purpose well. They're warm and waterproof. I have received many compliments on them because they also look good, not like most waterproof boots that are not dressy enough for church. The compliments generally come from strangers sitting near me when I'm taking public transportation. The only two things I don't like about the boots are (1) the zipper sometimes gets caught and does pull up easily, and (2) I don't like that the seam is down the middle of the boot. Other than those minor issues, I love these boots... and they're perfect even when walking through slushy puddles.
Wears this shoe: Weekly... but suitable for daily wear as well.

These boots look great wearing to work, and I can wear them all day without overheating. But outside, they're oh-so-warm! I have really wide calves, and the stretch fabric actually fit (although snug, I was able to get that zipper up!) Very comfortable to walk in, truly waterproof, great in snow, not the best on ice, but what is?

A good friend of mine bought these boots in New York. She encountered a very wet and cold weekend and bought these boots because the shoes she had traveled with were soaked. She raved about her new boots and I decided I had to have a pair. The boots are soft enough to mold to my feet, yet breath making them extremely comfortable. The heel is a perfect height and the sole is ridged to grip on a slick sidewalk or in snow. And, of course, they are water proof. I will always use them when I travel and for those very few days when it is cold enough to wear them in Florida. They fit great under slacks but also look very elegant with a long skirt. They fold for packing. They really are a wonderful boot. Other friends have since purchased them for all the reasons I have mentioned.
Wears this shoe: When traveling off season in cold climates. I'll wear them in Prague next month
