I bought this for work. I wanted a boot that was stylish yet warm and comfortable to walk in when the weather is bad. This boot is great and versatile; it can be worn with nice slacks, jeans, and skirts. The boot fits on the calf well and the material breathes, but would be most comfortable on cooler days. The heel and sole are stable and walking a fair distance in them would be fine and would be ok in ice or snow.
