It comes with removable insole for my own insoles. I have plantar fasciitis and heel spur and this shoe brought me immediate ALLDAY relief. On my feet all day in a fast pace bakery and the first day of wearing these shoes I had absolutely no pain. My legs, back, and feet felt great at end of the day. No break-time was needed either. I had plantar Faciitis for over a year and they were the only shoes I could really wear. Aetrex also makes inserts for that problem so that's why I originally bought them. I ordered these (apex) in white for the summer. They are a little stiff right now but still fit good right out of the box. I will be sticking with these for walking shoes for a long time. 	Apex Ambular Biomechanical Oxford Loved the Quality but have to send them back. April 04, 2013 Reviewer: Sprite from Auburn California USA. I loved the quality of these shoes! I was so hoping they would work for me since I have a very short wide foot and have to wear an orthodic. I tried the shoes by removing a layer at a time with my orthodic inserted and they just became to wide and then too long for me to wear. Not having my orthodic in them removing the first layer was fine but I must have my orthodic inserted. I ordered a size 4.5 XW I have to return them. Wears this shoe: cant - too wide and too long
