Excellent
By Dominic T, from New Jersey | August 03, 2012
Excellent sneaker. Correct my foot position without my orthotics, no knee pain. This is my 3rd pair. Hold up very very well.

Most comfortable shoe Ive ever owned!
By Joe, from Bordentown, NJ | February 27, 2012
I have very bad feet. Achilles tendonitis, bursitis, capsulitis, and an avulsion. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have been able to triple my daily walk now with them.

Glad I found Aetrex!
By Anonymous, from WI | December 07, 2011
I found the Aetrex X821 to be a very well fitting, comfortable shoe. I need a little extra width and the wide size fit perfectly! With this shoe and my off the shelf PowerStep Maxx orthotic, I was able to heal a very troublesome plantar fasciitis problem in just a couple of weeks. The X821's worked out so well, I also bought Aetrex running shoes and black pair of the walkers. It is hard for me to find shoes that fit this well and feel this good.

Aetrex Sneakers
By Connie, May 21, 2011
This is the third time that I have purchased this particular sneaker. I have to remember that it makes a huge difference when ordering female as opposed to male sneakers. The men's sneaker in Aetrex of the same size as the women's is much wider and more comfortable. I don't have anything negative to say about these sneakers. I give it raving reviews. They are comfortable. It is a little pricey but I know that it can cost more at retail stores in NYC. So, it fits my budget for now.

Decent walker
By Artie, from Los Angeles | March 16, 2010
This is a well made shoe. The standard width tends to run a bit too narrow for my foot, but when I got the width that felt comfortable in the toe box it was rather sloppy in the heel. On the plus side they do accommodate my orthotics. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit well as I have a wide instep but a narrow heel. I do very well with a brand like Keen which is built to accommodate my foot type. If you have a foot type that is similar you probably would not be happy with the Aetrex.

My Aetrex
By C M. Benjamin, from New York | May 17, 2009
This is approximately the 10th pair of 821 Lenex Walker I have purchased. Obviously, I like them. My best fit is size 13 medium but when this size is not available I order size 13 wide and add an extra inner sole. That seems to work okay. On two occasions the shoes arrived with noticeably short tongues. This is annoying and makes it harder to put on the shoes. Other than that I have no complaints. I'm 77 years old and find the shoes comfortable for every day ware.

A Disney Park Shoe
By Jim Lynam, from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania | June 03, 2008
I had seen this shoe in a Medical Supplies/Drug Store and asked about it. I was told that it was especially good for those who have foot and leg problems. I have neither, but I thought it might be especially good for me anyway. You can walk for hours in this shoe and not be tired. I'm very pleased and I can't wait to use them when I go to Florida and walk in the parks.
