This is my third pair of rhino runners. I originally bought them because they could accomodate my custom orthotics and extra depth was needed. I do not run but wear them with my orthotics for walking, gardening (an old pair) and cycling. They are comfortable, supportive and long wearing. I just wish Aetrex made a non-mesh version that could be worn during the winter months and during wet weather.

What a mistake. I should have stayed with New Balance. Shoes are not as wide as I needed and I ordered extra wide. After returning a pair for being too small and receiving the next half size larger, I figure to take a chance and wear them for a few days, especially after reading the positive reviews. Well, I m sorry I did. They were like wearing bricks, no cushion at all and as mentioned above, not wide as I am use to with New Balance 4 E.

As a 350lb man, I need support in all my shoes. I have found great success in Aetrex shoes for helping deal with the pain of plantar fasciitis. These shoes fit the bill. They are comfortable and supportive.

I have had one other pair of this type of shoe and needed one with more support so I was advised by my podiatrist to order this one. It was cheaper on this site than it was to order it through his office. The shoe has excellent support and feels great on my feet. I will definitely order this again.
