I have shoes that I can wear comfortably for 4 hours, 8 hours, 8+ hours. These were "8 hour" shoes the first time I wore them. They continue to be able to go all day.The shoes are a great shade of brown that goes with a lot of my brown tone clothes - and dresses up some of my 'blah' pants
