I bought this particular boot because I have owned several pairs previous and really like it for comfort and stability and the fact that it really is water proof. I work outdoors alot and hunt and fish and hike. Even though this shoe doesn't have big lug soles, it's soft rubber sole seems to give plenty of traction in most of the fall hunting situations I find myself in.
