Shoe part felt true to size, the calf part is a bit tight, but will likely stretch. If you have large calves, these will be hard to zip up. These are made of manmade materials and you can tell. They don't look expensive, and aren't. I bought these for very casual use, which they are fine for. They are not a deep black; in some light almost look a dark grey due to the 'grain' of the material. They are fine. I will keep them, but don't 'love' them.
