It fits perfectly. I bought this bag for my 17 inch laptop and I love it. The straps gives you alot of support and it still has alot of room left for other things in the bag.

I purchased this bag to carry my lapto and netbook pcs, but there is no padding at all so I use it as the gym bag now. Too cute to return.Big enough for everything, however, the strap is vinyl and does not give good support for heavy stuff.

In the search for unique and attractive laptop cases of a less Geek Squad and more cool chic look, this bag in ruby is tops in my book. My 15.6" laptop fits (albeit somewhat tightly) and the straps are sturdy and it's roomy enough for all my other gear without unsightly bulging. The only downside is that there is zero padding. And by that I mean, zero as in not even a smidge of protection. Plus I mistakenly assumed that the metal feet on the bottom indicated at least some structure there which was not the case. I did have to purchase a padded sleeve to prevent my computer from taking too much abuse but for a cute bag like this, it was worth it to me. Pick your poison...padded but boring and blah or super cute and add your own sleeve.
