The skates fit true to size. My shoe size is 7 and 7 in these skates, fit perfectly. These were very comfortable and did great on the ice. (I'm a beginner, occasional ice skater - so these are perfect for beginners).

I should have listened to the write up to order one size bigger than what you wear in shoes. It was absolutely right. Other than that its a great skate for kids. Just planning to have the blades sharpened.

We have only tried these skates on. Most figure skates run small and I knew this prior to ordering. The skates are very pretty and my daughter loves them. Our town rink relies on the weather to operate hence the reason for not using them as of yet. Her last pair of skates were also purchased at Shoebuy. They were also made by American....great skates at a great price! Shoebuy is a wonderful experience!

I read several other reviews about these skates before I made the purchase. Other customers have said that the shoe is a full size bigger than your normal size. I wear a size 8 women's and I purchased a size 8 skates. When I tried on the skates with regular socks, of course the skates felt a full size bigger. I had so much room in the shoe, but here is the reason why......Ice skates are not meant to be worn with average socks, but with really thick and durable socks or shoe inserts to add-in comfort while skating since the ice can take a beating on your ankles and feet. You will last longer skating on the ice if you are wearing the proper type of socks or shoe inserts. After I tried on the skates with regular socks, I then put on a really thick pair of socks and my foot instantly filled up the room in the skates and it was a PERFECT FIT!Therefore, I recommend that you purchase your normal shoe size so you can have that extra comfort of wearing comfy socks or shoe inserts. I love my skates.....can't wait to hit the ice!
