This boot has the functionality of a work boot, but the look of a dress shoe.
Lug sole pattern, all leather vamp & tongue, slip resistant lightweight thermo plastic rubber outsole, canvas covered 3/16" foam, black canvas lining, coated eyelet lacing system and wood shank.
Height -- 6"

I bought it because just like it was advertised; the boot that looks like a dress shoe. That is also what I like about this boot. The none slip sole and ankle support adds some support and safety to my work. Only negative is this is the first work shoe I should got that was the same size as a dress shoe. I will remember this the next time I purchase this shoe. Hopefully the same style will be available.
