I now own these sandals in 3 colors . . . there is NOTHING as comfortable for walking long distances. They hold up really well in both cloth and leather. The souls make them more sporty than dressy.

I needed a walking shoe for a narrow foot. The velcro straps enable the Mephisto Clipper to fit perfectly. The bed of the shoe is very comfortable. I am curious to see how the leather holds up after walks through wet grass.

I have narrow feet, so it has always been a challenge to find shoes that fit properly Also, I have had problems with a torn tibial tendon in my ankle, so I now must wear shoes that provide good, solid arch support. While the Clipper would certainly fit an average width foot, the velcro straps enable me to adjust the shoe to fit even my narrow foot. Plus, the arch support is great, and the shoe itself is like walking on a cloud! You'll love this shoe!
Wears this shoe: Evenings at home; also great for any kind of outdoor walking.
