Nice shoe overall

Purchased this product because I want good quality and I want it Made in the USA. This is my second pair of AE shoes and both seem to run a little narrower and smaller than usual. I normally wear a medium or regular width and both pair are a little tight. In contrast my Dexter 1957s feel perfect right out of the box. The AEs last a little longer than the Dexter's and they will "rebuild" them for less than a new pair when they do wear out.

I have wide feet, and nobody's shoes fit me like Allen Edmond's. I wish I could get away with lower cost options, but I always end up back at the AE section.

Overall, the construction is great and it has a nice sole, although the toe area was not finished as well as I would have liked for the money paid. I expect better. It appears as though the leather was pinched together to make a fit with the toe stitch. I have a size 10.5 in Cole Haans, same style and find them to be better built, better overall appearance, while not USA made. This is my second pair of Allen-Edmonds, the Randolph is the other. Leather on that pair looks sub standard, second quality.

There's not a lot to review. These shoes are Allen Edmonds! Great shoes straight out of the box. I have never wore a bad pair of AE's. The Stowe's are a nice looking shoe that can be wore with dress and casual. Very versatile and VERY comfortable shoe!
