Hoo

I have 13 Narrow--probably A width--feet (used to be AAA). Have worn boat shoes in the past but could not get them from ShoeBuy recently. Ordered a pair of a different brand boat shoes, but narrows were way too wide. Returned them and ordered these Allen-Edmonds Eastports. They were considerably more expensive, but are well made. Feel true to size--N is probably a B width. Comfortable. Nice lining, but probably not any more comfortable than the Rockports. Time will tell, but they do seem somewhat better made.

Classy and comfortable
By Michael, from California | January 25, 2014

These are some of the nicest shoes you'll ever own. The leather is soft and supple, and and the binding string along the edges and for the lace decoration is strong. The craftsmanship is obvious, and draw peoples attention in any setting you decide to wear them in.

Wilbert - odd name but good shoe
By Timothy B., from Springfield, MO | December 25, 2013

I used to sell shoes decades ago when I was in high-school. Wore my first AE at that time. I have a very narrow foot (11 or 11.5 AAA or narrower!) I also wear a 3/4 length orthotic for flat feet. I ordered an 11.5 AAA. I needed a sturdy shoe for casual/good occasions. My feet feel much better after wearing the Wilberts for only 30 minutes. GREAT SUPPORT. The Wilbert fits in width, but I might have been able to get by with an 11. Unfortunately Shoebuy did not have that size in that width. The shoe is VERY COMFORTABLE after a few days of wearing it in the house to break it in. My recommendation is - if you like space at the toes, go with the size you think you need. If you like your toes nearer to the end, go a half-size shorter. If you go with the longer size, consider adding a tongue pad or an insole. Warning, the combination of an orthotic and another insole will not work as your heel will be too high. I love the sole material (very stable), but it is NOT fancy dressy. I wish AE made a shoe like this in black! Pass the word!

Simple n straightforward
By Michael, from California | December 18, 2013

When you need to make a strong statement, simple is best. This great tan look takes itself and the snappy appearance it always gives its Wearer very seriously. Nice buy
