I have always worn an 11, but with the LaSalle, I am a 10.5. I ordered the 11 and it didn't fit, so I sent it back and got the 10.5. The left shoe feels about 1/4 to 1/2 too big also. Otherwise, great shoes. I have a pair in the "Chile" color also and they are very comfortable and look great.

I am very happy and satisfied with this product so far after 3 or 4 wears. Having never purchased a pair of shoes built on a last before, I immediately could tell that I had been buying the wrong shoes all of my life. Nobody should deny themselves a pair or two of a proper last-built shoe. When you put a pair on your feet you immediately notice the difference in quality, comfort and support. They don't come cheap, but Allen Edmonds are probably the most affordable and accessible last-built offerings available in North America. The LaSalle model in dark brown is very versatile and looks fantastic with solid and pinstripe navy pants, and equally good when worn to dress up a pair of dark denim. The styling cues on the shoe give it a bit of pop without being susceptible to going out of style in a couple of years. I bought this particular model after having my feet measured on a Brannock device on two separate occasions and I can tell you that my feet are an 8D on the nose. However the LaSalle in an 8D fit slightly narrow in the toe box (at least on my feet). This isn't a problem at all, but rather something to be aware of. A move to an E width offers 3mm extra width; correct fit likely solved. I would always advise trying on last built shoes in a store before placing a "blind" order over the internet because they are designed to fit more precisely, and just by the nature of their design, some lasts may not fit your feet properly. All in all, AE Lasalle model is highly recommended.
