I have worn Allan Edmond shoes for thirty years. Presently have four other pairs. These are the best fitting of them all. I really like the quality of the leather, especially considering that there are no US tanneries any more, and the leather is not of the same quality as in the past.
Wears this shoe: When I am wearing dress slacks and sport coats.

Allen-Edmonds uses leathers that are, compared to any dress shoe you usually see, absolutly beautiful - and will redefine what you understand about dress shoes and the quality of leathers.The burnished merlot color is gorgeous and has very nice/subtle antiquing.The broging across the edge of the captoe and lacing is gorgeous.These are great shoes.

Allen-Edmonds are about the only shoe I wear to work anymore. Very stylish and comfortable with barely any break in time. The Hale is a classic shoe that looks good with a suit or business casual.
