I simply bought these online without having tried them on before at a store and they fit perfectly. Great looking shoe as well, as the color breaks up my regular black and brown shoe rotation!

This is the 4th pair of Allen Edmonds dress shoes I have owned, and find it to meet the high standards of AE shoes. I wanted to buy a Cap-Toe style shoe and found this to meet my needs. It is more stylish than the Park Avenue but is not built on the 5 Last. The 5 Last was also used on the discontinued Fairfax which i found to be extremely comfortable for me (long and narrow foot). In any case i have found the Hale to be comfortable and well made. As with all dress shoes it takes about 3-4 wearings before it is broken in. The merlot color goes extremely well with my brown mocha colored suit.

I've generally worn black with any of my gray suits etc. However, I decided I wanted to try a burgundy color and found the A-E Hale. The fit is great. I work in an office all day and spend a full day in my shoes each day. Comfort is fantastic and the look is impeccable. A real classic. I have received lots of compliments.
