In My Humble Opinion. December 25, 2012

Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width
A very disappointing appearence of an expensive do cksider shoe. I was not impressed at all with the quality of the leather, nor the feel of the leather.

Eastport Review December 13, 2012

Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width
The shoe looks good, but feels too snug. In fact, it rubs the top of my little toe. Not very comfortable.

Very nice with a few exceptions August 03, 2010
Reviewer: Dave in Buffalo from New York
Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked
This is a very well constructed shoe with a lot of comfort built in. It has a simple, elegant look that works well in any casual to semi dressy environment. The only qualm I have is that, for me, it took quite a bit of breaking in. My right foot is a wide, the left extra wide. Both needed to be stretched width wise. Usually, when purchasing a wide shoe, the width is sufficient with the right, but in need of a little stretch with the left. The left shoe took a considerable amount of stretching to be comfortable. Also, they felt slightly longer than many 6.5s.

Great after a little break in June 19, 2010

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked
These aren't as comfortable right out of the box than some other brands but the quality of materials and construction of these shoes are top notch. They are built like tanks, look great and after a couple of weeks of dedicated work to get them broken in they are perfect. Many reviews complain that these run a bit narrow and if I wear them with socks I would agree. Boat shoes are designed for wear with no socks however and when worn as designed, the width is perfect for my 9D foot. Four stars because of the initial break in period but five for everything else. I have two pairs. I like them that much.
