I have several Del Ray and Belmont pairs of these shoes. The longer narrow toe results in one needing a 1/2 size smaller, so as an example, instead of an 11, one should get a 10.5, but that's just with the longer narrow toe of the Del Ray or Belmont. They wear in relatively quickly and become comfortable though initially the nature of the shoe makes them very firm.

Allen Edmonds makes a great shoe! Requires no break in at all. I got this shoe because I was tired of wearing the mundane cap toe dress shoe like everyone else. The only issue is I can't keep the shoelaces tied. I am going to replace the shoelaces to see if the problem goes away. Still love the shoe.

Fits and feels great right out of the box. Excellent workmanship and material quality. I've been wearing Allen-Edmond dress shoes for years and swear by them. Overall, I'm extremely pleased.

The shoe is great. It is a very comfortable and professional looking shoe. The only downside is I had to bring it to the shoe repair shop to have the soles rubberized to handle winter and wet weather otherwise the shoe would be very slippery.

AE shoes are one of the best for your money, they last forever if taken care of properly. The gal who polishes our shoes at my firm says she sees pairs that still are in great shape after 20-30 years! I have had my set of Delrays' for one year and have covered many miles without a problem They still look so nice I was in trying one some other AE shoes at the store and someone tried to fit test my shoe that was sitting on the floor!
