My first Allen Edmonds

This is a very nicely constructed shoe. I buffed mine to a high gloss and they look absolutely fabulous. I recommend anyone who purchases Allen Edmonds' calfskin shoes to give them a nice shine (it takes three hours but it leaves a nice base for a 5 min. shine once a week to maintain).

Allen-Edmonds was recommended by the shop I take my shoes to for repair and polishing. The shoemaker recommended the brand to me as the best he has worked on. This is my second set of shoes from this firm. The other pair are Commuters. Both are high quality. The Delray epitomize stylish class while the Commuter is supremely comfortable. I can walk 20 miles in the Commuters. The Delray, I wouldn't want to walk 3 continuous miles in them. They feel great at rest at my desk and boy they sure look good! I have never received as many compliments in so short a time over a pair of shoes. I can't wait for another ShoeBuy sale to get my next set.
