This shoe has a flap on top below the tassle that will not stay down. Appearently it was cut from a piece of lether against the grain and sticks up after the shoe is worn of few hours. It is a good looking shoe except for this problem. It is very unsitely for a shoe costing this much. I wore the shoes once and have returned them.

I'm pretty much buying nothing but Allen-Edmonds shoes these days, slowly trashing all my other inferior dress and casual-dress shoes. They are expensive, but shoebuy.com is the only place I know where you can get these shoes at a discount, and it's great that they are always available in my size (14). Another good thing is that they wear like iron. Once you buy Allen-Edmonds you will never want to go back to ordinary shoes.
