A very disappointing appearence of an expensive do cksider shoe. I was not impressed at all with the quality of the leather, nor the feel of the leather.

These shoes look solidly built. They fit true to size, maybe a bit tight. I always use cedar trees on my shoes and these are not the exception. Good quality and comfort, although not as good as Crocket-Jones. All in all a good buy if you get them at a discount

When it comes to style and comfort in a business shoe, this shoe is as good as it gets. No other shoe that I have owned looks better with a good suit. I can wear this shoe all day, around the office and the city, and my feet feel fine at the end of the day. However, as with all traditional leather outer-soled shoes, the bottom outer-sole will wear down overtime. That is why I docked the shoe 1 star. For the price of an Allen Edmonds business shoe, I would like to see the outer-sole last a little longer before needing repair or reconstruction.

Like all Allen Edmonds, it takes a few wears to break in and loosen up. The leather is very heavy and durable, and looks long wearing. These can easily be worn in the office but they are special so I wear them on my own time. I like that they are a hipper take on a classic wingtip with Allen Edmond quality.
