I had purchased another style and color of Allen-Edmonds and found them truly comfortable from the first wearing. The same is true of this pair. The styling and finish make me proud to wear them. I have paid more for shoes, but have not had any greater satisfaction.

I have never actually tried wearing gloves on my feet, but in any case these are definitely the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. And that is much appreciated since my EEE width makes it hard to get a good fit with any shoe.

I am entiely satisfied. Excellent in overallappearance, with a dark color not so red as some other "burgundies," these shoes permit harmonious combinations with brown or black clothing. They are elegant rather than bold, without exaggerated add-on elements or interruptions of line on the one hand, nor so austerely sleek as to require modish attire on the other.
Wears this shoe: To work (academic, ot "business), and going out (restaurants, concerts, etc.)
