It was love at first sight. When I opened the box and peered at these beauties for the first time I knew they where special. There's just something about old world craftmanship that keeps reminding me that no matter how much we evolve the Italians of the Dolomite region especially have the knowledge and the passion for perfection as far as quality,craftsmanship,and the best of materials.

There is no dislike in this boots I ordered. Everything seem fits perfectly and molded my feet with no problem. It's my second boots of AKU. My first pair boots were Taiga Gore-tex hiking boots. It was the best boots ever. I still have them for a back-up. Utah Lite GTX is designed for speciality in long-haul backpacking with mid/heavy weight pack. It's strong durable, guaranteed one hundred percent waterproof, and also keeps your feet pretty warm in snow and cold weather.

I bought the AKU Utah Lite GTX because Backpacker Magazine rated this boot very high. I wanted a shoe that was heavy duty and waterproof. This is my second pair of AKU boots and I loved the first pair, and I already like this pair. They will take some miles to break in but that was my experience with the last pair also.
