I had orthotics made and Aetrex is the only shoe carried by the pedorthist who did the work. This is my second pair of Aetrex shoes since getting my orthotics. They fit into the shoe perfectly and the shoe feels natural with the inserts inside. My old shoes never seemed to be deep enough to accommodate my feet and my orthotics.Great shoes, will order more.
Wears this shoe: Most of the time. Only change to hike or for dress.

I suffer with bone spurs and its hard to find shoes I can wear for an eight hour shift on concrete. I have worn these from day one and so far they are awesome. I plan to buy again.

I was having multiple problems with my right foot and the doctor was unable to help after multiple types of treatment and said surgery was the next option. I went to Stan' Shoe Shack in Bound Brook, NJ who custom makes prescription shoes if needed but told me to try these shoes for a week. I've been unable to walk unassisted for 6 weeks but after putting these shoes on I was able to walk without assistance. Love them

I really thought this would be the best shoe for me. I thought that when I worked out on the treadmill I would be in heaven, but it didn't come close to being comfy for me. There is no cushion in the insole and no arch support. The heel slips, and my size 9 1/2 regular felt too long and too wide. I kept changing out the insole with different cushion pads, and nothing worked. All in all I am very disappointed -- all this sh did was look good as far as I am concerned. I will have to give it to my daughter to knock around in.
