This is the third pair of these shoes I have purchased and I have loved them. When you are able to change the inserts to fit you foot it makes it great.

This is my second pair of Aetrex x821 shoes.The first pair has served me well for the last year.I am on my feet sometimes 14 hours a day.I do have to take out the middle inner sole to make this shoe fit comfortably otherwise it is too tight.It had a nice wide box toe which I really like.
Wears this shoe: In a camp kitchen sometimes up to 14 hours a day.

I had purchased a pair of aetrex in this size from a local store. Having 5 acres to take care of they got pretty grubby, so I went back to the store to find it closed up. Having an unusual size(5 WIDE)I was glad that I had the model & size number to go to the internet to search. I have never been able to find shoes with enough room for my toes till I found these shoes. My toes have been squished for years, so I was so happy to find shoes with more room and will be ordering another pair soon.
Wears this shoe: Any time I go anywhere other than home.

After Foot Reconstruction

I have had trouble with my feet since I was very young. After years of teaching, I had to have the first of many surgeries to help my left foot. This past January (2009) I had my left foot reconstructed. This shoe was recommended by my nephew, and my surgeon was very impressed with the special help this shoe gave me as I re-learned how to walk. I have never been happier with a shoe and would recommend it to anyone who has flat feet or any arthritic problems. Thanks for making it easier for me to walk without pain!
