The shaft of these boots is wide enough to tuck in pants and they have elastic in the shaft so they can stretch. The down side to this is that if you have average-sized calves and wear leggings or tights, then they are a little lose. I am very happy with these boots in general as it is difficult for me to find something comfortable enough to walk around all day in the city. they label says they are waterproof, but I have not tested them out yet in wet conditions--but if they really are, it makes this pair of boots all the more perfect. My feet are a little on the wide side, and I ordered the wide which really made a perfect fit for me.

Better than expected. Fit, style, color, comfort are all perfect. Wore them all day the first time I put them on, not a single problem. My foot tends to run a bit wide but I just removed the insert and they fit fine. The calf is more than roomy enough for jeans, tights, etc.

I bought the grey suede and love the color. The heel is covered in same suede so it makes the boot more classy. Plus the heel height is perfect, not so high it is uncomfortable after an hour, but also not so flat that it makes it only for casual wear. This boot is so stylish it can be worn with both casual and dressier clothes. It is supposed to be waterproof but I have yet to test that out. It truly is very comfortable(walked around downtown Chicago for 6 hours without problem and could have gone longer). The foot bed has very good cushion and arch support but it is removable so you could still put in your own orthotics if you wanted.If I didn't already have several black boots, would have bought these boots in black also, which shows how much I love these boots!

I have difficult feet. They are wide. I have a bunion and a neuroma. It is no fun to try to find shoes that are comfortable but stylish. I ordered these in a 9 wide and they are comfortable and cute!!! I am more than happy with these boots

I love them they are perfect and they are so comfortable my feet don't hurt until I have had the shoes on for 12 HOURS that Is amazing and I don't have a pair of shoes that I can wear for 12 hours without my feet hurting BUT now I Do!
