Over the last six or seven years iv'e tried more than a dozen different brands and styles of velcro strap shoes.Some were more expensive and some weren't. None of them held up, looked as good, felt so comfortable or performed as well as my Aetrex Lenex Triple Strap Walkers! I'm a diabetic with no feeling from my shins down through my feet. For more than 10 years I have had problems with shoes being too heavy, making me lose my balance or stumble and fall. No more worries with these.I believe it's because the triple strap gives a much better fit, their lighter weight and the fantastic overall balanced design of the shoe. I have severe plantar fasciitis and needed an easy on walking shoe that I could put orthotics in when wearing. These are my everyday shoes since they are both easy on and have enough room to accomodate orthotics. They are exactly what I was looking for.

My dad does not always shop quality first for shoes and when you need a wide size you wind up settling for less than best. He has bad knees and these shoes with their extra width and excellent structure take a big chunk of the strain off of his knees. Dad likes the velcro straps, they are easier than laces when you have bad knees and have trouble bending over. He is very pleased with the comfort and support these shoes provide. Don't skimp on quality with your shoes. Happy feet make happy people.
