Can't say enough about these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and look real nice. My husband wears them with casual slacks and even sports coats. He says they are like wearing a Gym or even a New Balance. But look better.
Wears this shoe: Casual dress as well as church dress.

This is my second pair of these shoes and they are again true to fit, form and function. In addition to being great looking shoes for casual or dress they are extremely comfortable to wear all day long.

Looks great, but has some drawbacks July 17, 2012

This is probably one of the best styles I've seen compared to other brands that make similar shoes, so for looks alone I can give it 5 stars. However, here is the list of flaws:1. It doesn't have much tread.2. The heel part of the sole is too narrow - has stability issues. Too often, I stepped on an uneven sideway crack in the street and my ankle buckled sideways. I'm still athletic and flexible, but I can see it causing an injury to someone much older and not as flexible. This doesn't happen w/ any of my other shoes. The problem gets worse as the heel wears unevenly.3. Insole has zero arch support. Despite having gel insoles, it is worthless to me. I replace them w/ orthotics.4. Shoe tongue is slightly too long. It has a tendency to bunch up at the base causing soreness in the feet. I put both ends of the strings through the tiny cut holes in the tongue to keep it fully extended (using only 1 string will not work) - that solved the problem.

Now that I have arthritis and swelling of the joints in my feet, I need a 'spacious' shoe. Most of shoes designed for orthopedic use are big and boxy. I own some of these specialty shoes and they work well, but I need a more 'dressy' shoe for work and special occasions.I ordered this shoe in Wide width, in my usual size. I found the shoe to fit in length but too tight. Fortunately, Shoebuy offers an 'extra wide' size (XW), which turned out to be perfect. This style allows me to lace the shoes loosely around the toes, and then lace them tightly at the instep so the shoes stay on my feet (and don't slide/flop). I am pleased with this purchase. The style is great. And Shoebuy exchanged the original W width for XW very quickly. I was surprised (and pleased) at how rapidly Shoebuy did the exchange.

I work in New York City and am constantly walking, whether it be down the streets of Manhattan or in through a construction site. These shoes are holding up pretty well so far (it's only been a month though) and they seem to be very high quality. They are super comfortable it feels like i'm wearing my gym shoes to the office. The perforations help it breathe well too. I highly recommend these shoes, very versatile and stylish too.
Wears this shoe: 5 days a week 15 hours a day
