Product Description (Women's Aetrex Ambulator Biomechanical Boot)

Designed to limit stress at the areas of the foot most susceptible to pain. These shoes are often recommended for diabetes, arthritis or for anyone seeking a shoe that provides maximum comfort. The Ambulator Biomechanical Boot provides unsurpassed comfort and protection with unique features such as Hidden-Depth Rocker soles, removable comfort orthotics and soft pigskin leather linings. Multiple removable insoles provide a 1/2" of removable depth for maximum protection and fitting flexibility. Aetrex unique PRS insole (Pressure Relief System) allows you to easily customize the comfort and fit of the shoe by trimming the insole at the areas of pressure.

Fit: This style tends to run narrow, we recommend purchasing a wider width.

Super comfortable for my feet, like having custom orthotics. I'm on my feet all day and these shoes are awesome, classy and most importantly I have energy at the end of the day because my feet are not tired.

For those who must wear a full length (foot to calf) AFO, this Boot is the closest I have ever found to something that looks like "fashion". Truly, it's not your pointed high heel, awesome designer boot, but as you know we have to settle and we can't wear heels with AFOs, so this boot at least gives you the look of something more fashionable than a sneaker or standard black flats. Worth every penny.

These are awesome boots.Calf in the inside and the outside makes you feel like you are wearing soft leather gloves. I can put my orthodics in. and still have a classic looking shoe when worn with pants. I believe that another customer felt that the boot was too tight in the width. I ordered the wider width and actually don't need it!! Heavier socks will keep my feet warmer this winter!!
Wears this shoe: I will probably wear these boots nearly all the time. It gets cold in IL!!

I have severe arthritis just below my big toe on myright foot. When I wore other shoes or slippers, Ihad to stand a lot with my foot in the air to ease thepain. With Women's Aetrex Ambulator Biomechanical Boots, the large toe box eases the pain tremendously. I now wear them from the time I get up in the morning until I go to bed at night. I am delighted with them. The short toe box also keeps me from tripping over my own feet. I had to search high and low for just such a toe box to protect me from tripping and Aetrex won the prize.

The shoe fits true to size as should all Aetrex shoes since they are all built off the same foundation. This shoe could use more padding in the bottom of the shoe for me,it has a wonderful soft leather lining. I bought it for a good all purpose orothopedic shoe.
