The heel is just right not too high or too short, they look cute with skirts and pants. I wear them with tights and they are a little large and I got a 6.5 at the end of the day my feet did hurt a little but at least I was able to wear them all day without taking them off which I usually can't do with boots. I am a nurse and on my feet 12hr a day 3 days a wk so I thought these could of used a little more cushion to them for aerosoles.

This is my second pair of Patrole Car boots. They are extremely comfortable and very well made. They look great with dress pants and jeans. Best boots I've ever owned.
