I really like the boot. It doesn't grip my heel and it slips up when walking. I am going to try heel grips to see if it is better. I,ll try wearing heavy socks.

I have these in blue & wine. (Blue suede shoes! Yay!)They do run a tiny bit large, but that's good - you can wear thicker socks for a color-coordinated look. I also feel they are not terribly supportive, and they lack a padded sole, so socks are helpful. They do look great, though, and are very comfortable.

The best thing about this shoe is how comfortable it is. I am constantly walking all day long and at the end of the day, my feet feel great! I like them so much that I just ordered another pair in wine color. They look great in jeans, too!

I have a high arch and there was absolutely no support for the arches. The sole is super soft, so you might feel pebbles or stones if using them for walking. They actually felt like bedroom slippers, very comfortable to put on and beautiful to look at.
