I needed a black shoe to wear to my high school teaching job. I feel better in conservative wear, but like fun clothes, too. This shoe fits the bill. I am on my feet all day, and after 7 hours my feet are tired of them, but I will continue to wear these because they fill the right niche in my wardrobe.

These shoes are very comfortable. I didn't have to "break them in." I have a slightly wide foot and most of the time my shoes are uncomfortable for the first few wearings until they stretch a bit, but these shoes fit me perfectly. I have received a lot of compliments on them too.
