For the last 10 years, I've been buying the Stan Smith shoes for racquetball (I think this is my 5th pair), primarily due to the shoe's surface area and lateral support. However, I assumed the Stan Smith II would be an improvement on the original, I couldn't have been more wrong. Theses shoes make me feel like I have boards strapped to my feet, in addition to the blister that I've developed on inside of my right foot. The tonque holder has disappeared as has the feeling that the shoes were pre-broken in... I've gone back to the pair of shoes the new ones were intended to replace, due to the discomfort when playing racquetball. It appears I'll have to look for a different pair of game shoes...

Good, casual shoe - not really suitable for tennis as it was 25 years ago. Only complaint - not that much toe room. That is, plenty of length, but they still don't allow much freedom for big toe to move (seems squeezed between shoe top and sole).
