I bought my first pair in the 90s and have been a fan ever since. True you have to break them in but once you do they are amazing...my brother stole my last pair so its time for some new ones.

While I was somewhat reluctant after reading other reviews about sore soles, I'm glad I bought them. They are comfortable and feel great although, in fairness to those reviews, I don't wear them for hours at a time.

These sandals have some sort of hard, rubber spikes covering the foot of the shoe so, unless the bottoms of your feet are good and calloused, you can't walk in them without some serious pain.

The Adidas Adissage, give them time. When you first buy them, they really hurt your feet. And I know, I just got my first pair today and my feet are killing me. The little nubbies created dents on the bottom of my feet and it was like walking on nails. But I have heard and read many other reviews that if you keep wearing them steadily, your feet get used to them and love them. Don't give them away!
