I was initially disappointed with the slippers. The toe piece seemed too short and boy did they hurt! I toughed it out for a couple of days and I'm glad I did as they are super comfy now.I would purchase them again.

Nice slipper, but expensive

I ordered the Acorn brand slipper after reading many positive reviews for the brand. I am a 59 year old woman with heel issues and I find that after wearing most slippers for several months, my heel becomes sore from the heel of the slipper wearing down. I decided to order these after checking reviews, and also the description for the slipper on the website said that they had an "enhanced" heel. I decided that it was worth spending more for the enhanced heel feature. The slippers are very well made and comfortable, but I'm not sure that the heels are much more enhanced than a less expensive slipper. It isn't a flat heel for sure, but I feel that for the price of these slippers, the heel could be more supportive. If you don't have any heel "issues", like bone spurs, etc. they are nice slippers, well made and comfortable. I will wear them, but I wish that the heel was more supportive.
