this slipper used to have a ton of cushioning/memory foam. the last 2 pair i ordered were much more compressed and much less squishy and comfy than they used to be. bring back the oruginal.

I shopped early for a slipper for warmer weather and this one fit the bill and my foot. I have narrow feet and many slippers are sloppy--this one is not because you can adjust it both over the toes and the arch. I'm usually an 8 or 8 1/2 narrow and the 8 fits fine with very adequate length. The footbed is nice and soft and it has a harder sole so you could walk outdoors. Seeing that I won't be wearing them until summer, I cannot comment on durability however in the past Acorn slippers have worn well. Stylish they are not--but I purchased them for utility and function.
Wears this shoe: AM and PM, basically indoors. They are slippers.

These slippers are skid proof, totally adjustable towidth and amazingly comfortable. They also wash well in the washing machine--just like new! As they're 'spa' slippers I only wear them at home as soon as the shoes come off....my husband says they look "dworky", I tell him how happy my feet feel so get over it! I'll take comfort and good foot support any day! I recommend for size 8.5 you get the 8 as a 9 is too big.
