This ballet flat features a linen and cotton-blend upper with a soft metallic finish and Acorn original embroidery detail. It is fully lined in soft berber terry for cool comfort. Added comfort also from the cushion insole heel toe with padded arch support. The non-slip weatherproof sole is perfect for indoor or outdoor wear. This vegan shoe is not created using animals, animal by-products, or animal testing.

They were just what I was looking for -- lightweight, all-season house shoes. If only they lived up to their potential, I would be truly happy. Their potential: well-made and comfortable. And they have. I wear a size 11B and it is very hard to find that size and true comfort without sacrificing style. Contrary to the other review, I would not consider these an outside shoe, that is, dirt, extra greenery from cutting grass, would not be a friend. I would consider the woven material upper - delicate, to be treated like fine fabric. I have worn them outside and even drove in them once. Surprisingly, they did not present any problems driving, the bottoms are a thin rubber. The foot-bed is a soft material that reminds me of a foam mattress pad and there is a very thin "sherpa-esque" lining which gives it extra warmth when needed. Very comfortable.

These slippers are good for indoor/outdoor use. They are not as comfortable as a formed heel in that the elastic heel has a tendancy to push my foot forward into the toe bed. A pretty look.
