Bought the more expensive acorn slipper and i find it does not fit correctly. Since i wore the slipper already i know i cant send them back.

I had purchased Acorn slippers a number of years ago.They felt great indoors or out.Age and daily use finally got the best of them.I hoped to replace then with a similar pair.My old slippers had what appeared to be a rubber sole that provided stability.Unfortunately the new ones have a soft leather sole that causes my feet to roll over to the side. They are unsatisfactory.From your description and photo I thought that they were the same.
Wears this shoe: At bed time, and on rising in the morning.

After much research, I found this leather-soled moc to replace the pair that I've had for 19 years (they're just now wearing out).These Retro Moc II's seemed to fit the bill.Problem is, they are VERY narrow, and the seam that runs over the instep doesn't give at all.My feet actually lose circulation.I thought I'd be able to wear them enough to loosen them up, but the pain is too much for me. They're probably perfect for women since they have narrow feet, but probably are too narrow for most men, even thought they list Men's sizes.I got a size M which is the perfect length for my size 9 foot Since I've been wearing them to try to break them in,I can't return them, so I guess I need to find a tall woman to give them to as a gift! I'm so bummed because I really like them, they are such good quality, and they were just what I wanted.
Wears this shoe: I would wear them morning and night -- they are moccasins.

This slipper looks great, feels great, and is warmer than any other slipper I have worn from Acorn! The only issue is that it is pretty snug if worn with socks, so you may consider ordering a slightly larger size if you plan to wear socks with this slipper.
