The term Fur generally refers to the thick coat of soft hair that covers the skin of some animals, which is used in the making of garments as trimming decoration or as lining in footwear. Most recently, out of concern and protection towards animals, faux Fur has been developed from synthetic fibers to resemble very closely natural Fur and still maintains the same properties of softness and warmth.
About Slippers:
Slippers are a type of footwear that is soft and lightweight and can be slipped on and off easily. Slippers are made out of materials such as felt, terrycloth or soft leather, and may or may not be lined. Slippers have thin and flexible soles, with a shallow tread meant only to prevent the wearer from slipping on smooth floors. Most slippers are intended for indoor wear only.
