I thought this shoe looked like the excellent quality penny loafer I wore as a young girl, and it truly is! There are many penny loafer look-a-likes out there for less money - but you don't get that true shoe. This is the original and I'm very happy with it.

I bought these shoes because I had been looking for a classic penny loafer. It definitely is and looks great! It does feel a half size larger, but I have narrow feet, so it's probably just me. The best part about this shoe for me is the textured sole. No slipping around.

I purchased this shoe in size 5 and when it came, it was about a half size too small. I then ordered the next size. 5.5 which was perfect. I was emailed a return label, attached it to the box of the first shoe and sent it back (no charge to me) I had a credit in less than 4 days. Overall a very nice experience. This shoe is a replacement for the mandatory loafer for my daughter's high school. It seems to be of a much better quality and more attractive than the school brand; albeit, a slightly redder color.
