This shoe is lightweight and flexible and strobel lasted. The upper is made of a rough-out suede with breathable airmesh. This style features an abrasion-resistant toe and heel overlays, an external heel cup for added stability, "sausage" laces that stay tied, a stay-flat pull tab, antibacterial, moisture-wicking lining, an Ortholite® sock liner, 5.11 strike platform for added comfort, compression molded EVA midsole, and a new range and trail-ready outsole.

I like the shoe very much. Normally I buy new balance 11.5 EEEE. These fit perfectly, are wide enough, and very comfortable. Went on a 4 day course where we were on our feet most of the time. Wore the shoes every day all day. Very, very comfortable even in sand and gravel. Will look for another pair when these wear out.
